Rowan - 4 Weeks
Ok ok ok, I have heard some comments that I am not keeping up with the baby photos online. Yes we are taking them (the camera is never very far). Just not getting them online every week. Here are a few close ups of her taken when she was exactly one month young. Sporting her cool hip European onesie brought back from her Oma's recent trip abroad.
Rowan - 3 Weeks
For those that are wondering, yes I am enjoying my time off from work very much. I know that is a shocker. Molly of course is as well. We are keeping busy between Rowan and photography work yet it's also more relaxing in many ways (even getting up to change diapers at 2am). I have the easier job to keep the house up, Logan in check, and helping with Rowan. Molly has the harder job spending most of her time with Rowan since she eats like a Klein. That means breastfeeding very often! Here are a few new photos of her, still three weeks young...Rowan's aunt Rosalie is the one holding her in one image and the finger being clinched in another is of course Molly's.

Baby Rowan Natalie
As many of you know on September 12th at 7:08 Molly and I were very fortunate to welcome baby Rowan. She came in at 7lbs 5oz and 20" long. It was thankfully for Molly a fairly quick time frame that she delivered. And as she wanted from the beginning it was natural, no drugs. Molly is a rockstar in my book. If it was possible for me to give birth we would be adopting! Here are some photos of her first day on planet earth. A couple of them only minutes after being born. Both baby and Mom continue to do well. Rowan is very healthy and even quoted by more than one nurse as 'perfect' but we already knew that!

When you say "first day on planet earth," you make it sound like baby Rowan is from another planet. We welcome her to our wonderful planet, and hopefully she'll park her space-craft and stick-around for awhile! Here's to father-hood!

Hooray for you Molly in having a natural, drug-free birth!! I haven't heard of anyone since I was having children in the 70's who has chosen to do this. Besides being so good for the baby, I think it's an amazing experience (albeit a startling one!!) to know exactly what giving birth really feels like. LIttle Rowan is adorable. I'm so happy for you all!Love, Jane

Amazing is too small a word to describe the beauty you know hold in your arms. A big congratulations on behalf of your extended PPofO family.Molly, you have 3 more to go to catch up to Pam's 4 natural births (3 at home), and Adrian, I said the same thing - were it my responsibilty, we would have a very lonely life. Looking forward to meeting Rowan in person. Andy
